Be assured that we are taking the Coronavirus situation and its potential impact on our community and beyond very seriously.

Here are a few of the ways we are working to meet the guidelines:

  • Modified Hours: Our centers will open from 6:30am – 6:30pm to give our team enough time to ensure the centers are thoroughly clean and disinfected before and after the day using enhanced cleaning procedures.

  • Limited group sizes: We will have no more than 10 people per room including teachers and children will be grouped by age/grade.

  • Health Screening:  We will conduct temperature checks for children and staff on arrival and departure and at designated times throughout the day.

  • Restricted Access: Designated staff will escort children in and out of the centers and no visitors will be allowed in the center.

  • Continued monitoring: We continue to stay up to date on CDC and Bright From the Start guidelines and will make the necessary adjustments when needed.

Learning Hive schools provide a unique curriculum, fostering a love of learning with a focus on developing a strong social, emotional and educational foundation so that children are prepared to thrive in school, and in life.

We are a community of family owned licensed, early learning and care schools serving Preschool, Pre-K, before and afterschoolers as well as summer/winter break camps for families in the Gwinnett County and greater Atlanta area.  We offer enrichment programs as well as flexible drop-in care for busy parents who need occasional childcare. Our teachers are caring and dedicated to providing a warm and cozy environment for your children.

Our Programs

Our babies are healthy, happy and engaged in learning through exploration throughout the day.  We work with them to encourage learning and development of motor skills.

Our daily schedule includes activities which allow for individual exploration, cognitive thinking, development of social skills and improving small and large motor skills.

The Kids' Club" provides a comfy environment for the school age child to thrive in. Their special place to develop hands on skills, social growth, and acceptance of themselves and others. All club activities are geared towards building intellectual, physical and social skills.

We believe communication is key in order to provide quality care and education to the children in our care. We have an open door policy. Parents are welcome to visit the center anytime. We encourage parent involvement in the classroom and center and offer many opportunities to do so.

In addition we keep you informed through communication methods such as:

Daily Reports: At pick up time, in addition to a daily written report about your child's day, you have an opportunity to talk to the teacher.

Parent Teacher Conferences:  We offer regular scheduled time for you to meet with your child's teacher to discuss developmental milestones

Center and community activities: We organize several events throughout the year to build connections between parents and the communities we serve.

What parents are saying about us...

“It is definitely a benefit to have found a program that feels like family away from home. The homework help has made my late/long work hours a bit easier! I value the commitment to letting the children be children, while learning and experiencing new and important parts of life.(ex. Cooking-the Monkey Bread) Yael loves the trips that are always planned when the children are out of school! Add the new friends she’s met and she’s beyond happy.
